Funding

Not for Profit Organisations can apply for 50% funding up to £200,000 through the low carbon buildings fund. Installs must take place prior to March 2010. The procedure and details can be explained by your installer. Funding is first come first served. You will need to meet the criteria set down under Phase 2 of the scheme.

Rural businesses and farms can apply for funds to diversify their business which could include developing carehome or nursing home facilities on their site. Sites will need an equal balance of economic and sustainable benefits to be able to qualify. Between 50% and 100% funding is available.

Accreditation

Freesource Energy are an approved Micro Generation Certified Scheme (MCS) installer and thus can offer all applicable grant funding for the technologies described in this section.

VAT

All renewables benefit from a VAT rate of 5%.
